Day 1
We did the walking tour on our own and saw some amazing ruins
Have drinks at Sky bar
That night we left to Tikal on the overnight bus that picks you up from Antigua at 630 pm
$45 for first class ticket and ride to Guatemala City bus station
Day 2
Arrive in Flores 7am ish check into hotel and scheduled a sunset tour for Tikal that leaves Flores at 1pm.
Sunset Tikal tour 150 quintals
Entrance 150 entrance fee and 20 pay off for seeing the sunset
While you wait take one of the boats around Flores shore to a near by beach for a little relaxation and swimming before your Tikal tour
Boat 100 including pick up what ever time you want. It’s like 10-15
Minutes from Flores.
Day 3
Leave 6am to Semuc Champey and prepare for a loooooooooong ride. We stood in Semuc but you can also stay in lanquin which is about 45minutes away from Semuc. Arrive around 530/6 ish.
150 ride to Semuc. Pray to be the first picked up. If not try to call dibs on the front seat! Our van driver squeezed 18 people including the driver.
Day 4
Start a 9am tour to Semuc Champey, Caves and Lazy River Tubing. You can also attempt it on your own but you aren’t saving much in pricing. Unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures of the caves it was took dark and I didn’t have a waterproof phone case on me. Worth the long travel
Day 5
Leave at 5 am back to Guatemala City to catch your plane home. Arrive at 1pm and if you have time to spare hang out at the market in zone 13 literally two minutes from the airport for some last minute souvenirs. The restaurant in the market leaves a lot to be desired as far as food. So if your looking for good eats head to zone 10.
