Is This Trip Right for You?
This is an adventurous and active trip. Though the overall pace is moderate, the nature of the tour requires long travel days and early morning wake ups. The drive to remote areas is over rough and bumpy unpaved roads with limited access to rest stop facilities. Walking is done over uneven surfaces or up and down steep slopes for two to three hours during tours. It is recommended to wear sturdy footwear. Small boats and animal experiences require agility to embark and disembark. Air-conditioning is usually not available in Mongolian camps or hotels outside of Ulaanbaatar. Electricity at the camps is provided by generator and may not be available 24 hours a day. WiFi may not be available at the camps. This tour is not recommended for people who have difficulty walking or who have heart conditions. This is a Small Group program.
